SimVentions seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Buffalo, NY to support SPY-6 radar integration for the U.S. Navy. The role concentrates on systems engineering, requirements, interface documentation, and test planning across the lifecycle.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years of experience and an active Secret clearance. Travel to Moorestown NJ and Wallops Island for 3–5 days, with additional local travel up to five trips per year. SimVentions offers ESOP and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with requirements development, specs, integration, and verification.
• Experience with radar systems or defense systems preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess performance.
• Experience planning and executing system testing with data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB.
