Job summary

RTX in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Naval Radar programs. You will develop and implement test plans, troubleshoot hardware and software, and integrate systems to achieve mission success.

The role requires a STEM degree, at least five years of experience in systems hardware/integration/test, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Travel up to 10% and onsite work at the Marlborough facility are expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and at least five years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following: systems hardware, systems integration, or systems test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Drive performance by collaborating across functions to resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
