Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Naval Radar programs. This on-site role is based at our RTX facilities in Tewksbury, MA or Woburn, MA, and requires U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

The position emphasizes testing, integration, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualified candidates typically hold a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and can travel up to 10% to support missions at various sites.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following: systems hardware, systems integration, or systems test.

Responsibilities

• Support Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Tewksbury, MA or Woburn, MA.
