Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support analysis, design, and development of Navy training products. The role is fully remote and located in Pensacola, FL, with Navy training standards in focus.

Responsibilities include front-end instructional design, learning-objective mapping, scriptwriting, storyboard development, and collaborating with SMEs to ensure NAVEDTRA compliance while meeting project milestones in a structured production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in instructional systems design, curriculum or training development.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into learning solutions.
• Strong scripts/storyboards and collaboration with SMEs.
• Familiarity with NAVEDTRA standards and adult-learning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design activities with Government SMEs.
• Develop learning objectives and map them to training requirements.
• Write instructional scripts and develop detailed storyboards.
• Ensure products conform to NAVEDTRA standards and government requirements.
• Collaborate with multimedia developers and QA reviews throughout the lifecycle.
