Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support analysis, design, and development of U.S. Navy training products. The role is located in Pensacola, FL and will be fully remote.

The successful candidate will lead front-end instructional design activities, work with Government SMEs, and ensure products meet NAVEDTRA standards and government requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of training development experience.
Experience performing instructional systems design and curriculum development.
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust access.
Strong scriptwriting and storyboard-development skills.

Responsibilities

Lead front-end instructional design activities with Government SMEs to transform requirements into instructional content.
Develop, map learning objectives to training requirements and write clear scripts.
Create detailed storyboards communicating content, interactions, graphics, media, and assessments; coordinate with developers.
Collaborate with multimedia developers to ensure NAVEDTRA standards compliance in final products.
Facilitate SME reviews and incorporate feedback; maintain traceability across requirements and assessments.
Ensure products conform to NAVEDTRA standards and government requirements; support production schedules.
