Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on foundation projects nationwide.

You will plan daily work, coordinate crews and equipment, interpret plans, and ensure safety and quality across all concrete activities. The role requires travel to active project sites across the United States, with a strong focus on leadership development, teamwork, and adherence to project schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of utility-scale or heavy civil concrete construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman leading field crews.
• Ability to lead multiple craft personnel while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily concrete construction activities for utility-scale foundation projects.
• Plan daily work assignments and coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, layout information, and construction documents.
• Coordinate reinforcing steel installation, formwork, anchor bolt assemblies, embedded items, concrete placement, finishing, and curing activities.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
