Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a National Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead agile, full-cycle recruitment across the US. You’ll partner with Operations Managers and District Directors to diagnose hiring pain points and build pipelines for skilled trades to leadership roles.

You’ll manage relationships, leverage Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter, and align TA strategy with daily operations, while supporting multiple time zones from Raleigh, San Antonio, or Dallas offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full life-cycle recruitment experience, including headhunting skilled trades and management.
• Experience recruiting across industrial, logistics, blue-collar, or waste-management sectors where hiring impacts operations.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to adapt to multiple regional dynamics.
• Proficient with modern ATS platforms (Workday preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment across different US regions, shifting focus based on vacancies.
• Proactively source a diverse portfolio of roles from frontline trades to regional management.
• Partner with district leadership as a consultative adviser to identify hiring pain points remotely.
• Align talent acquisition strategy with daily operational needs for local management.
• Build sustainable talent pipelines using advanced sourcing tools and networks nationwide.
• Maintain ATS integrity and leverage market intelligence to advise leadership on trends.
