Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Project Engineer to assist Project Managers and ensure work on projects meets plans and specifications. This on-site role requires relocation to project locations nationwide, with the posted location possibly not reflecting the assigned site.

The Project Engineer will review plans, prepare schedules, attend meetings, and publish weekly progress reports, coordinating with superintendents and trade contractors to keep projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 1+ year of experience with a commercial general contractor or internship preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specs; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Attend and document meetings; distribute minutes.
• Update and maintain project schedules; coordinate shop drawings and milestones.
• Assist in bidding and scope development for trade contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
