Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Project Engineer who will assist Project Managers to ensure work meets plan and specification requirements. This on-site position requires relocation to project locations nationwide and entails reviewing plans, attending project meetings, and ensuring compliance with safety and construction standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with a commercial general contractor or comparable internship experience preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills. Expressing ideas clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assures compliance with assigned project plans and specifications.
• Reviews plans for value analysis and constructability.
• Attends and takes notes for project team meetings.
• Publishes weekly progress reports for assigned projects.
• Updates project schedules and assists in bidding.
