Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver and expand Technical Skills Academy and other development programs for front-line teams. The role requires developing training content, partnering with schools, and supporting apprenticeship and onboarding across regional markets.

This position involves travel 50-75% and emphasizes measuring training impact, knowledge transfer, and ongoing professional development within a fast-paced, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, Business Administration, Learning and Development, Education, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and development best practices.
• Experience designing and developing instructional materials in various media.
• Flexible delivery across classroom, virtual, on-the-job, synchronous or asynchronous formats.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Progress Residential University’s Technical Skills Academy; create training content aligned with best practices.
• Support apprenticeship or entry-level technician programs and field trainers to meet business needs.
• Build relationships with technical schools and colleges to grow talent pipelines nationwide.
• Provide interview, hiring and onboarding support for regional markets; measure training impact.
