The leader will coordinate across regions, mentor senior staff, and guide growth initiatives in safety, operations, and multimodal analysis while traveling to various offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from ABET accredited program.
• 15+ years of traffic engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with operations, strategic planning, marketing, and business development.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment and with dispersed teams.
• Strong business acumen and experience in the traffic engineering service line.
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan.
• Experience leading traffic engineering teams across multiple offices or markets.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Established client and industry relationships to support strategic pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Promote and lead knowledge sharing, technical expertise, and coordination across regional traffic teams.
• Support regional leaders with developing client-specific expertise and best practices.
• Develop communication networks and forums connecting staff across offices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support.
• Align talent to opportunities and assets across the service line.
• Drive integrated traffic engineering portfolios including ITS, data analytics, and multimodal solutions.
