Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• 15+ years of related traffic engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with operations, strategic planning, marketing, and business development.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment and with dispersed teams.
• Strong business acumen and experience in assigned service line.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic plan.
• Demonstrated success leading traffic engineering teams or practices across multiple offices, geographies, or client markets.

Responsibilities

• Promote and lead knowledge sharing, technical expertise, and coordination across the regional traffic teams.
• Support regional leaders with developing client-specific expertise and best practices.
• Develop communication networks, forums, and methods that connect staff across offices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support.
• Understand individual and team expertise and help align the right talent to the right opportunities.
• Advance an integrated traffic engineering portfolio including safety, operations, traffic design, signal systems, multimodal analysis, and ITS.
