Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 10+ years’ experience in transportation/highway design.
• Familiar with KYDOT standards and IPD processes.
• Experience in project management and business development.
• Ability to mentor staff and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic growth plans with office managers and practice leaders.
• Establish and grow market presence through marketing and business development.
• Manage department budget and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead and contribute to proposal development.
• Serve as technical advisor to project managers and staff.
• Staffing planning, hiring, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate regional work-sharing and collaboration between offices.
