Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a senior Transportation Engineer to lead highway design projects, including pavements, drainage, and signing. The role requires close coordination with practice leaders to drive growth and ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate has a PE license and 10+ years in transportation, with strong communication, project management, and business development capabilities to mentor staff and win work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 10+ years’ experience in transportation/highway design.
• Familiar with KYDOT standards and IPD processes.
• Experience in project management and business development.
• Ability to mentor staff and lead teams.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate strategic growth plans with office managers and practice leaders.
• Establish and grow market presence through marketing and business development.
• Manage department budget and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead and contribute to proposal development.
• Serve as technical advisor to project managers and staff.
• Staffing planning, hiring, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate regional work-sharing and collaboration between offices.
