Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) seeks an energetic Traffic Engineering Service Line Leader to expand capabilities nationwide. The role partners with civil engineers, planners, and technicians, driving growth and aligning talent across markets.

The leader will shape strategy, manage client pursuits, and collaborate with multiple business lines to deliver high-impact projects for government and institutional clients. A PE license and 15+ years in traffic engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program.
• 15+ years of related traffic engineering experience.
• PE license required or equivalent licensure.
• Experience in hybrid work environments and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate traffic engineering service line across regions and offices.
• Develop growth strategies, measurable outcomes, and cross-office collaboration.
• Support pursuits, proposals, and client relationships for major projects.
• Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and staff development.
• Oversee brand development and thought leadership for the service line.
• Manage resources, performance metrics, and project delivery quality.
