Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager for National Security to be a strategic technical advisor to security-focused customers. You will craft strategies to accelerate adoption of AWS services, manage risks, and ensure operational health across customer environments.

You will travel as needed and engage with senior leadership to align architecture decisions with mission needs, while maintaining strong customer relationships and advocacy within AWS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or equivalent, or 2+ years of technical work experience.
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience in information technology operations.
• Ability to build strategic relationships with stakeholders across teams.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for Enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical advisor for National Security customers providing proactive guidance on AWS best practices.
• Craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and optimization of AWS services.
• Drive discussions with senior customer leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, risk management, and operational health.
• Proactively monitor and maintain the operational health of customer AWS environments identifying risks before they become issues.
• Build deep trusted relationships with customer technical teams and leadership to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Advocate internally on behalf of customers, acting as the voice of the customer to AWS service and support teams.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Support Engineers, and Service Teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
