Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as the strategic technical advisor for National Security customers. You will guide architecture, operations, and security while driving adoption of AWS services and maintaining operational health.

The role emphasizes customer advocacy, cross-team collaboration, and strong communication with both executives and engineers. Willingness to travel up to 10%+ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 2+ years of technical work experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills when engaging with customers and leadership.
• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical advisor for National Security customers across architecture, operations, and security.
• Craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption of AWS services.
• Drive discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, risk management, and operational health.
• Proactively monitor and maintain operational health of customer AWS environments.
