Layton Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for on-site roles with nationwide relocation to project locations. The position supports planning, management, and execution of construction projects, ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction management or related field and 3+ years of experience in ground-up commercial construction, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction management.
• 3+ years of experience in ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Reads blueprints and understands construction codes.

Responsibilities

• Champion Layton standards and deliver predictable outcomes.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Prepare estimates, budgets, and cost reports.
• Coordinate subcontracts and owner/architect meetings.
• Manage procurement within budget and schedule.
• Develop and monitor quality, safety, and risk plans.
• Maintain owner relationships and assist in project closeout.
