Job summary

AE2S is seeking a nationally focused Pipeline and Conveyance Practice Leader to define strategy and drive growth across the United States. You will lead technology direction and project delivery for water infrastructure systems, shaping capabilities across regions and guiding teams.

This senior role requires a PE license or ability to obtain it, 10+ years in pipeline/conveyance engineering, and strong leadership in client engagement and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience in pipeline and conveyance engineering for water, wastewater, reuse, or related utility infrastructure.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience leading teams, initiatives, or practice areas.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, the public, and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, technical direction, and growth of AE2S’s Pipeline and Conveyance Practice nationwide.
• Set and drive the national vision for pipeline and conveyance and distribution systems.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities and marketing presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across all large pipeline and conveyance projects.
• Represent AE2S as a recognized voice in the industry through client advisory roles and conferences.
• Support major pursuits and provide technical leadership in business development.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff across offices.
