Job summary

AE2S seeks a Pipeline and Conveyance Practice Leader to define and advance nationwide strategies for water infrastructure across the AE2S network. You will shape technical direction, drive growth, and oversee client engagement from coast to coast.

The role requires a PE license, a proven record leading complex pipeline projects, and the ability to collaborate across states while mentoring engineers and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of pipeline and conveyance engineering experience for water, wastewater, reuse, or related utilities.
• 2 years leading teams, initiatives, or practice areas.
• Proven track record of technical excellence.
• Strong communication with clients, the public, and colleagues.
• Willingness to travel for conferences, pursuits, and meetings.
• Must complete pre-employment onboarding as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead national strategy, technical direction, and growth of AE2S’ Pipeline and Conveyance Practice nationwide.
• Set and drive the national vision for pipeline, conveyance, and distribution systems.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities, and marketing presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality on large pipeline/conveyance projects.
• Represent AE2S in industry through client advisory roles and conferences.
• Support major pursuits with technical leadership in business development.
• Mentor and develop engineers and staff across offices.
