Job summary

Groups Recover Together seeks a VP of National Partnerships to own the nationwide referral strategy and scale partnerships across healthcare, justice-involved, and community channels. This fully remote role prioritizes Eastern time overlap with core teams.

You will lead a distributed, multi-market team, drive measurable referral growth, and build partnerships with courts, hospitals, and health systems. Travel as needed for partner meetings and events may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of healthcare growth, business development, partnership development, market development, or related leadership experience.
• Proven ability to build high-performing, distributed teams across multiple markets or states and translate referral partnerships into measurable growth.
• Deep understanding of referral development, account management, healthcare partnerships, and market activation.
• Ability to build scalable strategies from complex, ambiguous environments.
• Fluency with CRM systems, dashboards, pipeline tools, and performance reporting (Salesforce a plus).
• Executive-level communication — written narratives, presentations, board-level updates, and partner-facing materials.
• The ability to partner effectively with clinical, operational, analytics, marketing, and executive teams.
• Strong coaching, prioritization, and change management skills.
• Willingness to travel for partner meetings, conferences, market visits, and team engagement.
• Strongly preferred: experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, value-based care, Medicaid, justice-involved care, health systems, or community-based healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Own the national growth strategy across healthcare, justice-involved, and community-based referrals.
• Turn relationships into measurable results by expanding referral volume and activating new partners.
• Lead and grow a distributed team of Partnership Development Managers across markets.
• Build bridges across Marketing, Member Access, Operations, and Clinical to streamline referrals.
• Represent us with national, regional, and market-level partners like courts, hospitals, and health systems.
• Develop partner-facing education on MOUD and evidence-based treatment to reduce stigma.
• Let data drive the plan with market intelligence and performance visibility for execs.
• Plan scale by refining team design, incentives, and CRM capabilities.
