Job summary

The Baldwin Group seeks a Director National Placement Leader to drive strategic wholesale and open market placement for the P&C book. You will serve as the liaison between regional placement leaders, brokers, and sales teams, guiding ICP strategy and ensuring coverage, pricing and service for key clients and partners.

You will lead a cross-regional team, manage complex placements, and collaborate with analytics to optimize submissions and market positioning.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in commercial P&C insurance with ICP experience
• Proven leadership of marketing/placement teams
• Strong negotiation and market-trend fluency
• Experience with placement/AMS platforms and data-driven submission tools

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of placement leaders and brokers across regions
• Own ICP relationships and negotiate program terms
• Drive enterprise placement strategy and Go-to-Market plans
• Represent the firm at ICP meetings and industry conferences
• Collaborate with analytics on loss modeling and program structuring
• Ensure process consistency and data analytics adoption
