Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a National Development Manager to expand the national footprint and shorten the sales cycle by turning qualified leads to Field Sales. The role focuses on national accounts and maintaining a high call volume to pass qualified leads to sales.

You will nurture leads, apply BANT criteria, schedule meetings with Ryder Sales Representatives, and articulate Ryder's value proposition and services while building strong C-level relationships and driving revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of successful sales experience required.
• 3+ years or more Inside Sales experience preferred.
• 5+ years or more prior experience selling in a B2B environment required.

Responsibilities

• Nurtures leads and assesses match to ICP and activity level to determine if the Lead merits one-on-one attention.
• Uses BANT lead qualification to determine if the Lead merits assigning a sales resource.
• Schedules meetings between Sales Qualified and a Ryder Sales Representative.
• Educates prospects regarding Ryder's Value Proposition and Services offered.
• Maintains a high call volume to pass qualified leads to sales and generate revenue.
• Recognizes customer pain points and offers Ryder solutions; discusses transportation topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
