Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Development Manager (NDM) to expand our national footprint and shorten the sales cycle by turning qualified leads into opportunities.

This role focuses on national accounts and requires strong leadership in lead nurturing and account development. The NDM will nurture leads, coordinate with Field Sales, and educate prospects about Ryder's value proposition and services offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years or more successful sales experience.
• Three (3) years or more prior Inside Sales experience. preferred
• Five (5) years or more prior experience selling in a B2B environment. required

Responsibilities

• Engages in lead nurturing and assesses whether and when the Lead merits one-on-one attention.
• Accomplishes one-on-one nurturing and use BANT Lead qualification criteria to determine if the Lead merits assigning a sales resource.
• Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and a Ryder Sales Representative.
• Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's Value Proposition and Services offered.
• Maintains a high level of call volume in order to pass qualified leads to sales, set customer appointments and generate revenue dollars.
