Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Development Manager (NDM) to expand the Ryder footprint in the marketplace and shorten the sales cycle by turning over more qualified leads to Field Sales.

This role focuses on national accounts and will drive lead nurturing and qualification processes. The NDM will educate prospects about Ryder's value proposition, schedule meetings with Ryder Sales Representatives, and maintain high activity levels to convert leads into opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
• Three years or more successful inside sales experience. preferred.
• Five years or more prior experience selling in a B2B environment. required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in lead nurturing and assesses whether the lead merits one-on-one attention.
• Uses BANT to determine if the lead merits a sales resource.
• Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and Ryder Sales Representative.
• Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's value proposition and services.
• Maintains a high level of call volume to pass qualified leads to sales and generate revenue.
