Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Development Manager to expand the Ryder footprint in the marketplace and shorten the sales cycle by turning highly qualified leads over to Field Sales for national accounts.

You will nurture leads, apply BANT criteria to determine when to engage a Ryder Sales Representative, schedule meetings with the SQA and Ryder team, and educate prospects on Ryder's value proposition and services while maintaining high call volumes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years or more successful sales experience required.
• Three (3) years or more prior Inside Sales experience preferred.
• Five (5) years or more prior experience selling in a B2B environment required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in lead nurturing and assesses lead match to the ICP and activity to determine when attention is warranted.
• Nurtures leads one-on-one and uses BANT criteria to decide if a Ryder resource should be assigned.
• Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and a Ryder Sales Representative.
• Educates prospects on Ryder's value proposition and services offered.
• Maintains a high call volume to pass qualified leads to sales, set appointments, and generate revenue.
