Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Development Manager to expand the national footprint, accelerate the sales cycle, and focus on national accounts.

The role emphasizes lead nurturing, qualification, and coordinating with Ryder sales resources to convert qualified opportunities. The candidate will educate prospects on Ryder's value proposition, maintain high activity levels, and target growth through strong relationship-building with C-level stakeholders across large accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of successful sales experience.
• Three (3) years or more prior Inside Sales experience; preferred.
• Five (5) years or more prior experience selling in a B2B environment.

Responsibilities

• Engages in lead nurturing and assesses lead suitability based on ICP and activity level.
• Performs one-on-one nurturing and uses BANT criteria to decide if a lead merits a sales resource.
• Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and a Ryder Sales Representative.
• Educates prospects regarding Ryder's value proposition and services offered.
• Maintains a high call volume to pass qualified leads to sales, set appointments and generate revenue.
