Job summary

Cromwell Architects Engineers Inc in Little Rock seeks a driven Business Development Representative to grow the Industrial market nationwide. Develop and execute strategic plans, build lasting relationships with clients and contractors, and identify opportunities through market research.

Travel up to 50% and work with marketing, design and engineering to develop proposals and presentations. Proficiency with CRM tools and strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in business development, preferably within the A/E industry.
• Proven track record of securing and managing client relationships and contracts.
• Experience with CRM tools and proposal development platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on the growth and expansion of the local and national industrial market.
• Initiate contact with decision-makers such as C-Suite executives, facility directors and maintenance managers.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and general contractors to position the firm for future opportunities.
• Identify upcoming projects, RFPs, and partnership opportunities through market research and networking.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, trade shows and networking functions to expand the firm’s visibility.
• Track and report on business development activities, project pipeline, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, engineering) to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
