Job summary

Cromwell Architects Engineers is seeking a Business Development Representative, Industrial, to pursue new opportunities nationwide from our Little Rock headquarters. You will build relationships with clients and partners, identify projects, and drive proposals across the industrial market.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a background in sales or networking related to industrial facilities planning and the A/E industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in business development, preferably within the A/E industry.
• Proven track record of securing and managing client relationships and contracts.
• Familiarity with design and construction processes.
• Experience with CRM tools and proposal development platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on growth of the local and national industrial market.
• Initiate contact with decision-makers such as C-Suite executives, facility directors and maintenance managers.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and general contractors to position the firm for future opportunities.
• Identify upcoming projects, RFPs, and partnership opportunities through market research and networking.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, trade shows and networking functions to expand visibility.
• Track and report on business development activities, project pipeline, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, engineering) to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
• Travel: 50%
• All other duties as assigned.

Business Development Representative, Industrial

Position Purpose

The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the Industrial market nationwide. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems with a background in sales or networking to include an understanding of industrial facilities planning and the A/E industry. This position will office in our Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters.
