General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking an Equipment Specialist to monitor the national vehicle maintenance program and coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and manufacturers. The role involves evaluating cost estimates, ensuring contract compliance, and providing timely customer support to fleet personnel and government customers.

The position requires experience in the automotive field and the ability to analyze repair costs, negotiate with vendors, and use data systems

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in automotive field relevant to maintaining vehicle fleets and repairs.
• Familiarity with evaluating cost estimates and ensuring contract compliance.
• Ability to gather data, analyze issues, and provide recommendations to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for MCC and guide customers and contractors.
• Review repair costs and ensure estimates meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for warranted repairs at minimal government cost.
• Research program records and provide timely customer assistance.
