Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a US Distribution Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate its Distribution Line practice across the United States.

This role reports to the Power Delivery Operations Manager and focuses on strategy, delivery excellence, and practice growth. You will align resources, projects, and programs nationwide, building a coast-to-coast practice around a common vision.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership of geographically distributed teams in a consulting setting.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. electric distribution systems and standards.
• Experience delivering distribution engineering programs including grid modernization and electrification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. Distribution practice as a national team.
• Provide guidance to distribution line engineering managers and teams.
• Develop and execute growth plans and operating objectives.
• Ensure staffing, staffing levels, and delivery quality across the country.
• Mentor staff and drive professional development.
• Collaborate with leadership to balance workload and optimize resources.
• Support recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
• Drive client engagement and pursuit of major opportunities.
• Represent Stantec at client meetings and industry events.
• Guide investments and growth priorities for the distribution practice.
