Job summary

Stantec is seeking a US Distribution Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate our Distribution Line engineering and design practice across the United States. This national role focuses on strategy, delivery excellence, and growth, reporting to the Power Delivery Operations Manager.

You will align people, projects, and program support coast-to-coast, shaping the practice’s direction while ensuring high-quality execution and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one US state is required.
• PM certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. Distribution practice as a single integrated national team.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance oversight to distribution line engineering managers.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision, growth plan, and operational objectives for the U.S. Distribution line practice.
• Drive utilization, workforce planning, and resource management across the organization.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance where needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sector Leadership, and Project Managers to balance workload and ensure profitable delivery.
