Job summary

Stantec is seeking a US Distribution Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate our Distribution Line engineering and design practice across the United States. This is a national leadership role reporting to the Power Delivery Operations Manager, shaping strategy and delivering high-impact projects for utilities and developers.

You will drive resource planning, mentoring, and performance, while ensuring quality and safety standards across regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one U.S. state; ability to obtain additional registrations.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Distribution line engineering, project delivery, technical leadership, or engineering management.

Responsibilities

Lead the U.S. Distribution practice as a single integrated national team.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance oversight to Distribution line engineering managers.
Develop and execute the strategic vision, growth plan, and operational objectives for the U.S. Distribution line practice.
Balance workload and ensure staff appropriately staffed across the United States.
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance where needed.
Collaborate with sector leaders, account managers, and project managers to drive growth and delivery.
