Job summary

Withum seeks an experienced Cost Segregation Senior Manager/Principal to lead a national Cost Segregation practice within the Forensic & Valuation Services Team. This senior leader will drive market growth, develop scalable processes, mentor staff, and expand client relationships nationwide across real estate assets.

The role requires deep technical cost segregation expertise, strong leadership, and business development capabilities, with base in East or West Coast offices and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master's degree, MBA, CPA, or other relevant professional credential preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in cost segregation, tax consulting, engineering-based tax services, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a national growth strategy for Cost Segregation services.
• Collaborating with regional, industry, and national leadership teams to identify and prioritize market opportunities.
• Driving expansion and penetration within strategic tax clients and target markets.
• Partnering with Tax Partners and Client Service Leaders to position Withum for success in competitive opportunities.
• Maintaining active participation in business development initiatives, including pipeline management and opportunity tracking.
• Tracking, managing, and reporting business development activities and booked revenue through firm-approved processes and systems.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, referral sources, and industry organizations to support growth objectives.
• Leading and managing all aspects of cost segregation engagements from opportunity assessment through final delivery.
• Performing and reviewing cost segregation studies for commercial and residential properties.
• Analyzing potential projects and advise clients regarding the appropriateness and benefits of cost segregation services.
