Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the benefits group, gathering and interpreting underwriting, claims, and financial data to support client decisions.

You will partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and account teams to deliver insights, dashboards, and reports that drive underwriting, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and program performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics & interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy.
• Underwriting support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for carrier pricing and funding analyses.
• Client consulting: Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and performance.
• Sales support: Provide analytical backing for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
• Reporting & presentation development: Create reports, dashboards, and exhibits communicating complex information clearly.
