Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Site Superintendent to develop and manage comprehensive job plans for assigned projects. In collaboration with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, you will ensure delivery of planned scopes, safety, and quality, coordinating with architects, owners, and subcontractors.

You will review plans, procure resources, and monitor progress, costs, and schedules. The role requires relocation and offers opportunities across diverse commercial construction sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction processes and building codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret plans.
• Understanding of subcontractor scopes and quality requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with BIM360 or similar tools; ability to learn new tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and complete a job plan for an assigned job.
• Review plans and specifications to understand job requirements.
• Procure tools, labor, and some materials.
• Interact with architects and owners to resolve issues.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors and clients.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance to specs and schedules.
• Track progress, costs, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Participate in Project Management Plan development.
