Clark Construction Company is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field leadership on commercial projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and high quality while coordinating with trade partners. This role provides hands-on support to the Superintendent in daily site operations and helps translate project expectations into field execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent or similar field role.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication with clients, project teams, and trade partners.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating short-term jobsite activities with trade contractors.
• Support development and maintenance of the project schedule, including lookahead planning.
• Monitor contractor performance to align with timelines and requirements.
• Help facilitate approvals and documentation with architects, engineers, and authorities.
• Uphold safety, quality, environmental standards, and cleanliness on site.
• Assist with project close-out and ensure work meets company standards.
• Maintain detailed daily site reports and progress logs.
• Track labor hours and submit trade hours and labor reports.
• Participate in onsite coordination and progress meetings.
