Job summary

Buildto is seeking a Commercial Site Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities from mobilization to turnover. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage the schedule, maintain safety and quality, and work closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects according to plans and company standards.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction and strong leadership, scheduling, and safety expertise.

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial construction field experience.
Experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
Strong scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.
Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, or similar.

Responsibilities

Manage daily job site operations and all field activities.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and field personnel.
Develop and maintain short-term schedules and support the overall project schedule.
Conduct daily planning and subcontractor coordination to keep work moving efficiently.
Review drawings and specifications and coordinate submittals with the Project Manager.
Maintain jobsite safety and enforce company policies and OSHA requirements.
Perform regular quality-control inspections and ensure compliance with plans and codes.
Coordinate required inspections with building officials and authorities.
