Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations, including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials and manpower. The role requires directing direct labor, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects meet specifications and timelines with strong safety and quality standards.

The candidate will collaborate with the Project Manager, manage look-ahead schedules, and adjust plans as needed to maximize efficiency and prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; basic Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to plan procedures and staffing.
• Coordinate project schedule and look-ahead schedules.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients on progress.
• Manage labor costs by moving personnel between projects and overseeing crews.
