Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an Account Manager – National Accounts to manage and grow multi-site and national commercial customer portfolios, coordinating services and expanding Fortis' footprint across locations.

The role serves as primary contact for accounts, builds executive relationships, drives retention and revenue growth, and requires up to 50% travel to client sites and Fortis branches; in-office at headquarters when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/sales.
• 5+ years of account management, strategic or national accounts experience in commercial services.
• Proven ability to build relationships with decision-makers and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow national and multi-site accounts as primary relationship owner and advocate for customer success.
• Develop relationships with facilities leaders, property managers, and executive stakeholders across accounts.
• Identify opportunities to expand Fortis services within existing locations and across sites.
• Coordinate renewals, proposals, and strategic customer planning meetings.
