Job summary

Stanley 1913 is seeking an experienced National Account Sales Manager to grow business with Walmart and Costco. This remote role requires residency in select U.S. states and involves developing account plans, managing relationships, and driving sales and distribution across large-format retailers.

You will partner with internal teams to optimize product assortment, launches, pricing, and calendars, while monitoring performance and travel ~25% of the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consumer products, retail, or account management experience.
• Experience managing Walmart and/or Costco strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of mass retail, club retail, merchandising, and retail operations.
• Demonstrated ability to grow large national accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using sales and retail data to make business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail/customer reporting systems.
• Willingness to travel as needed about 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day business relationship with Walmart and Costco.
• Develop and execute annual account plans to deliver sales, distribution, and profitability.
• Build strong relationships with buyers, merchants, replenishment teams, and other retail stakeholders.
• Manage product assortment, launches, pricing, and retail calendars.
• Identify opportunities to expand Stanley 1913 distribution and increase sales velocity.
• Prepare and lead customer presentations, reviews, and planning meetings.
• Analyze sales, inventory, distribution, forecasts, and promo performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, and E‑Commerce.
• Monitor inventory and forecasts to ensure strong in-stock and minimize excess.
• Coordinate retailer-specific programs and ensure execution meets expectations.
• Track competitive activity, category trends, pricing, and merchandising opportunities.
• Negotiate opportunities while protecting profitability and branding.
• Develop regular sales forecasts and report performance to senior leadership.
• Travel regularly to meetings, HQs, trade shows, and retail locations.
