Qualifications

• 12+ years in pharma/biotech with market access exposure.
• 5+ years national account payer experience with Emisar GPO and Optum.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Part D and managed care processes.
• Experience launching rare disease/cardiometabolic medicines a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen relationships with Emisar (GPO) and Optum (PBM) across payer segments.
• Communicate product clinical and economic value to payers and decision-makers.
• Create and maintain comprehensive account plans for launch and post-launch.
• Lead contract negotiations and monitor performance metrics.
• Ensure organizational alignment to support Arrowhead’s expanding portfolio.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Finance to address access challenges.
• Provide market intelligence on payer trends and policy changes.
• Present payer insights in internal reviews and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
