Job summary

MannKind Corporation is seeking a National Account Director to manage payer accounts, including PBMs, Medicare Part D plans, and state Medicaid programs. The role requires aligning payer strategies with corporate sales and values, working cross-functionally with teams to optimize access and formulary positioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of national account management experience in pharma/biotech.
• Demonstrated success managing major PBM and health plan accounts with decision makers.
• Experience with Medicare Part D channel and branded products.
• Experience with formulary processes, utilization management, contracting and reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to identify payer needs and product opportunities.
• Cultivate institutional partnerships to influence care protocols and improve patient outcomes.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet launch initiatives and determine product coverage.
• Leverage payer value proposition to obtain formulary position in target accounts.
• Drive market access and formulary coverage across key accounts.
