Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a National Account Director to drive access for Redemplo and the expanding portfolio.

The role focuses on building and managing strategic relationships with federal and state payers, including Medicaid programs and VA/DoD, to secure formulary access. The NAD will lead contract negotiations, align cross-functional teams, and travel up to 50% to meet customers and stakeholders across the country.

Formación

• 10+ years in pharma/biotech with market access or payer engagement.
• 5+ years national account payer experience across government channels.
• Strong understanding of commercial and Medicare Part D processes.
• Experience launching rare disease/cardiometabolic medicines.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsabilidades

• Strengthen relationships with government accounts (Medicaid, VA, DoD, Indian Health Service, Humana Medicare).
• Communicate clinical and economic value to payers and key decision-makers.
• Create and maintain comprehensive account plans for launch and post-launch.
• Lead contract negotiations and evaluate performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Commercial Analytics, Finance, and Compliance.
• Provide market intelligence on payer trends and healthcare policy changes.
• Present payer policy insights at internal reviews and national conferences.
• Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations.
