Job summary

Padagis is seeking an Associate Director to drive public interest channel strategy for the OTC naloxone business across the United States. The role focuses on growing naloxone sales in government, non-profit, and B2B accounts while advocating for harm-reduction initiatives in alignment with business goals.

The position is open to 100% remote work nationwide or a hybrid arrangement for candidates in Western Michigan or the Minneapolis–St. Paul area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Minimum 5 years of Pharma/OTC sales experience in government/public interest.
• At least 3 years of contract negotiations experience.
• B2B sales experience.
• Strong network across government agencies including public health departments, state procurement offices, SAMHSA, HHS, NIH, etc.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability for relationship management with stakeholders at all levels to grow reach and influence.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Work with National Sales Director and cross-functional teams to establish business plan and strategy for expanding naloxone in aligned states/territories.
• Develop and manage sales execution and partnerships with government entities, non-profits, and harm reduction organizations to improve access.
• Identify decision-makers and key opinion leaders to unlock opportunities in target states.
• Oversee RFQs and contracts with government entities, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning.
• Develop direct relationships with government entities to maximize awareness of Padagis and improve naloxone access.
• Assist with sales forecasting and set ambitious yet achievable goals.
• Lead participation in state public health initiatives and advocate for naloxone distribution programs.
• Analyze market trends and policy changes to inform strategy and influence state policies.
