Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to bring the healing power of music to patients and families at the end of life. This role blends artistic passion with clinical care to provide comfort, dignity, and connection during challenging times.

You will deliver therapy per individualized care plans, assess effectiveness, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while adhering to HIPAA standards. Schedule is full-time, with comprehensive benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BT) or National Music Therapy Registry or American Music Therapy Association or equivalent certification.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.

• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.
