Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Iowa seeks a dedicated Music Therapist to provide therapeutic music interventions aligned with each patient’s plan of care, assessing effectiveness and adjusting as needed.

You will collaborate with the care team, educate colleagues about musical interventions, maintain HIPAA compliance, document sessions promptly, and contribute to quality improvement while supporting emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certification or national registration as a music therapist (MT-BT/Registry/AMA or equivalent).
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
