Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to provide therapy per care plans, assess patient needs, and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document sessions promptly, and maintain HIPAA compliance. A bachelor's in music therapy and national certification are required, with strong patient communication and autonomy in practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certification MT-BC or equivalent from a national organization.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
