Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to support patients and families on the end-of-life journey. You will provide therapeutic music interventions, assess effectiveness, and document progress within the care plan.

The role offers a full-time schedule with regular hours, interdisciplinary collaboration, HIPAA compliance, and opportunities for professional development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) or national registry acceptable.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Provide music therapy per plan of care; document sessions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.
• Document sessions promptly and accurately.
