Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is actively seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to join our team in Wisconsin. You will provide therapeutic music interventions aligned with the plan of care to enhance quality of life for patients and families at the end of life.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting sessions, collaborating with interdisciplinary team, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. A bachelor's in music therapy and appropriate certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certification MT-BT, NMTR, or equivalent organization.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.
• Document sessions promptly and maintain HIPAA compliance.
