Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to join our team. The role combines artistic passion with clinical knowledge to provide emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort to patients and families.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in music therapy, board certification (MT-BC) or equivalent, and ability to pass background checks. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BT) or MT-BC/registry equivalence required.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test; HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team, participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.
